Our Little Oinker

Okay...So, this is what happens when Grandma watches Mattie. Because he eats from a bottle when Grandma feeds him, Matt feels the need to just absolutely "GORGE" himself. He gets so full that he urps everywhere. This is what I came home to after my first day of work. HISTERICAL!!!

Mattie's Other Mommy...

So, I started back to work two weeks ago. It is actually going very well. The first day was a little rough, just trying to get back into the swing of things. However, nonetheless, I cannot complain. And, it seems that Mattie and Grammie are doing just fine as well. They seem to love their days together. It is so much easier to go to work, knowing that Mattie will be getting just as much love from Grandma as I would be giving him. So, it's a win-win for everyone!!!

Such a Big Boy...

Matthew's new favorite thing...Stroller rides "big boy" style. Instead of placing him in his carseat on top of the stroller, Mattie now likes to roll like a big boy. He just LOVES looking all around. Seriously, I could walk him for five hours and he would still be entertained. So darn cute!!!

Mark & Steph's Wedding!

Our good friends, Mark and Stephanie, wed on Friday, October 17th. Unfortunately, Mike was not able to go because he had to work. Instead, I brought my good friend Carrie with me, as my date. The wedding was so beautiful. And of course, Stephanie looked beautiful as well. It was very nice to get out and get some adult interaction.
Congratulations to The Osbornes! We love you!

The Baby Einstein Jumper

I rely on Matthew's many contraptions to get through my day. Otherwise I think my house would be an absolute disaster, because I would get nothing done. Lately, Matthew's favorite contraption is his Baby Einstein Jumper. I must admit, it is way too big for him. His feet don't quite touch the ground, and I need to shove a blanket in front of him to prop him up, but nonetheless, he loves this thing. So, tonight I was doing what all great housewives do...the dishes, and I hear a banging noise. At first I thought it was Paulie messing with Mattie, so I ran into the living room. Nope! Not Paulie! Matthew was spinning the little green frog. I started busting up! I really could not believe my eyes. It made me so happy that he has started to really associate objects and find an interest in them. And, as of Sunday, he has really discovered his vocal cords. He has cooed for a while now, but now, he just keeps getting louder and louder. And, he cracks himself up, which is just histerical for me to watch. What a character!!! We love him so much!!!

Daddy's Little Angels Fan

The sweetest thing....My good friend Donna, who is a HUGE Angels fan, bought Mattie this Angels hat when he was born. So, the other night, during the Angel's game, I walk out into the living room and see this...Daddy put Mattie's Angels hat on him, and sure enough, they were watching the Angel's game together. I could not resist! I had to get a picture of this! Love it!

Matthew's First Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

"The Girls" got together and decided to make a trip to the Irvine Regional Park Pumpkin patch so that the kiddies could experience their first pumpkin patch. It was so fun to watch all of the little ones climb all over the pumpkins. Of course, Matthew is still to small to really take it all in, however, he did seem to have a really good time. I think he must have enjoyed looking all around during the train ride the most. Of course, I think Matthew will have a much better time next year when he is a little older, especially with all of the girls to chase after.
Lovin' my binkie!

Matthew is Three Months Old!

Gosh! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. I remember driving to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning in labor thinking to myself..."This is it. He's finally going to be here!" Now, Matthew is already three months old. It has been such an amazing journey, watching him grow and develop at lightning speed. Matthew is such a big boy. He loves sitting in his Baby Einstein jumper. The lights and sounds make him smile like crazy. It is truly histerical to watch! And, his feet barely touch the ground..But, they touch just enough to allow him to bounce off of the floor. Such a funny site!

Such a precious little angel!

Daddy Loves Me...

Because daddy works a lot, he does not get to spend nearly the amount of time he would like to with his precious son. But, on the weekends, they make up for it and spend lots of time together. I just love watching the two of them interact. I captured this shot of Mikey kissing Mattie. Priceless!

Matthew's Trip to the Long Beach Aquarium

My good friend Tina and I spent Sunday at the Long Beach Aquarium. Well, actually, the aquarium was PACKED, so we only lasted about an hour there. So, we headed outside and walked along the waterline on a paved path. It was much cooler and much more open on our walk. Matthew had a great time looking around, while escaping the heat. After walking for a while, we went to P.F. Chang's to enjoy a nice lunch together. Thank you Tina, for the special day. We love you!
