My Grandpa and I....This is one of his many planes.

Well, our computer crashed. I used my parent's computer to make our Christmas card. As I was enjoying some quiet time to myself, I noticed some old photos I had uploaded onto their computer many moons ago. So, I thought I would share. Pretty funny pics. My grandfather has since passed away. I really love this pic of us. He was such an amazing man. He was a commercial pilot for many years for TWA, as well as a pilot in WWII. Oh, and one of my bragging points/family trivia...My grandfather flew a private charter jet for Elton John and the band Deep Purple. He had many very interesting stories to tell. When Mike and I were newly dating, we thought it would be fun to make a trip to California City to visit my grandfather Marshall at his airport hangar. It was a very fun day.

Santa 2011...

My parents and I took Matthew and Jacob to see Santa at Bass Pro Shops. Wow! They do an amazing Christmas attraction for the kiddos. We had soooo much fun. And, Matthew was so excited to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas. Apparently, he got so excited that he literally was "speechless" when he got up there. Well, after over an hour wait, I guess that happens. Good thing we have "The Elf on the Shelf", who reports regularly to Santa. Matthew often tells the elf, "I want a new dinosaur and some renoculars (binoculars)". Histerical!!!

Let's go to the "Duck Park"...

It's our little ritual we have...On our way home after preschool, Matthew always says..."Let's go to the duck park". I always pack bread, or can manage to scrounge up some kind of stale goods from my "mommy ride" to feed the ducks. We have so much fun. I love that on our way to preschool in the morning, Matthew waves to the ducks through the car window and says "see ya later ducks". He's very attached to them. It's also super cool to see the "Canadian Geese" fly to and from the park in the morning and in the evening. They fly right over our house and he says "the RENADIAN GEESE are going home". Mike and I laugh so hard. "RENADIAN GEESE"!!!!!

My Bebe!!!

My cousin Verlynn came to visit us for her 40th birthday! We are very close and had not seen each other since I had had both of my babies. She has four boys and is super busy as well, so it has always been very difficult for us to visit.

So, for her 40th birthday, her wish was to come to California for a few days. We had a great time visiting, relaxing, and shopping. I took her to Javier's for her birthday dinner with some of my girlfriends. We had an amazing time!
